These
Guide Lines are for the SAFETY of
your children!
PLEASE
DON'T RUN.
Why
?
1.
You
might fall. If you fall you might injure
yourself on the stems of the pumpkins that
are on the ground. The hay on the ground
is often wet and slippery.
2.
You
might get Hay Fever from the hay dust when
it is kicked up by running.
PLEASE
DON'T STAND ON OR KICK THE
PUMPKINS
Why
?
You
could fall and hurt yourselves. The
pumpkins might break, they are used for
food as well as Jack-O-Lanterns
PLEASE
DON'T THROW PUMPKINS.
Why
?
1.
You
might hit somebody with a pumpkin and hurt
them.
2.
The
pumpkins won't bounce - they will crack
and break.
PLEASE
DON'T PICK UP THE PUMPKINS BY THEIR
STEMS.
Why
?
1.
The
stems can (and often do) break, which
could cause the pumpkin to land on your
feet. Ouch! Pick up the pumpkins like a
ball, with both hands, but remember
pumpkins DON'T bounce.
2.
Some
stems have small 'needle like' coverings
that will hurt your hand and are hard to
remove from your hands.
PLEASE
STAY IN OUR PUMPKIN PATCH, DON'T WANDER
OUTSIDE OF OUR FENCES.
Why
?
Highway

is dangerous to get near.
PLEASE,
IF YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE TOILET, ASK A
PARENT OR A TEACHER IN YOUR GROUP TO BRING
YOU.
Why
?
If
you go to the bathroom by yourself, we
might not know where you are and
worry.
